The DSMP Artist Yearbook
a collaborative community art project

Hello There!
The DSMP Artist Yearbook is meant to collect art and connect the community through an art zine in the form of a yearbook, representing a DSMP Academy AU. The project revolves around the friendships created by the contributors in the discord, where "students" will join a house, classes, and clubs to create a story for the yearbook. The art created will be centered around and inspired by these groups' ideas and the yearbook will be filled with all kinds of art representing the DSMP Academy's story. Participating artists are only required to submit 2-3 simple pieces of art, but are strongly encouraged to create additional pieces to create the community feeling in the finished yearbook.

There are no applications required, rather, artists who want to contribute will "enroll" by joining the discord. However, please note that the mods will close the discord once we have reached a desired amount of members. Please note that because of this we are asking you to only join the discord if you are willing to be reasonably active and contribute art.

Frequently Asked Questions
Where will I be able to find the discord invite link? - The invite link will be posted on our twitter account! (at the end of the countdown on this carrd's first page.) The tweet will be accessible through our twitter, or linked to the discord button also the first page of this carrd.
(Additionally, if you replied to our announcement tweet on the 17th, or dmed us, you will receive the link through twitter. )
If you are from the MCYT Events server, beb is currently planning to announce the opening with the link on the 20th, so keep an eye out for that.
What will artists need to submit? - The only required art is 2-3 different portraits of your sona in uniform!
Can writers join? - There a few positions open to writers! Please make sure you let the mods know when you join though. :)
How will the yearbook be distributed? - The yearbook will be sent out as a pdf for everyone to download and keep!
Does the yearbook cost money? - Nope! It's meant to be like a big collab between a bunch of dsmp artists!
Where can I see updates? - Follow our twitter to keep up to date with everything!
Who's working on the yearbook? - The mods are in our twitter following! And because we're expecting for a fairly large amount of artists the entire list will only be included in the final zine. However, if we post any sneak peaks on the twitter the artists will be credited & tagged so you can check out their profiles!
When will the yearbook be finished? - Some dates are still tentative, but you can check out the roadmap to see what we've already finalized and check back to find updates
